School for 35 children with intellectual and physical disabilities from poor families
The Mercy Niketan School for Special Children is aimed at creating a positive and healthy environment for students. They not only provide education but also provide vocational training for students. This school is a safe haven for the mothers who bear the burden of raising these special children, some unable to walk. This school is very close to our hearts at Project Arpana. The resilience of the mothers never fail to inspire our team and all of them see PA members as part of their family. The children have grown with us for 4 years. We have supported them with computer systems, plate making machine and various supplies for vocational training and a van for transporting immobile students.
This year we supported them with:
1 x Water Purifier
2 x Sewing machines
6 x Ceiling Fans
1x Printer
3 x White Board
10 x LED tube lights
15 x Plates n Tumblers
6 months Vocational Supplies
